All started on 1962

Our pastry shop “Désiré”, located at 6 Dimokritou Street in Kolonaki, Attica, has been operating since 1962.

It is perhaps one of the few traditional shops with a workshop operating in the same space and combining the old French style with traditional sweets, all in a very warm environment.

1962 | Founded

It was founded by Greeks from Alexandria, Egypt, the Lazaridis family.

1995 | New owners

The store was taken over by new owners, who manage it to this day.

Passage of time

Our goal is to remain faithful to the store’s classic style and quality, reminiscent of old aristocratic Athens.

Present

Today, our customers can enjoy their coffee and try our fresh savory or sweet creations.

Based on maintaining quality and some classic flavors, we integrate new technologies into production to limit food and energy waste, while we have set as our primary goal the improvement of our customer service and experience.
